Marketing Summit Results and Materials

Over 130 business owners, municipal officials, and civic leaders attended the first annual Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath Marketing Summit on March 15. The purpose of the summit was to bring together stakeholders along the two trails to network, collaborate, and share marketing ideas. From the visitor perspective, the Passage and the Towpath together create a total trail experience. Gathering together for the summit and in future meetings will enable us all to provide a consistent, world-class experience the entire length of the trail system. The program

Trail Town Public Art story and photos

Volunteers passionate about the outdoors and community improvement needed!
The Trail Town Program is seeking Greensburg area volunteers to provide administrative support at our office on West Pittsburgh Street 4 to 12 hours a week during business hours. The Trail Town Program is an economic development initiative in towns along the Great Allegheny Passage, a 132-mile trail that is part of a trail system that connects Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C. If you would like to support this effort in revitalizing southwestern PA communities, please contact Amy at (724) 216-7420, or acamp@progressfund.org. We are seeking a volunteer with great attention to detail and some computer proficiency.
