An afternoon on the porch of Gingerbread House B&B

The Rockwood Area Merchants’ Association represents businesses in the Rockwood area. The Association in 2007 hosted a variety of Sesquicentennial events and collaborated with the Rivers and Rails Festival Committee to publish a Sesquicentennial Commemorative book.

The Merchants’ Association works closely with Rockwood Borough and in cooperation with the Trail Town Program to respond to the biking market provided by the Great Allegheny Passage. In June 2007, the Association welcomed over 500 bikers passing through Rockwood as part of Rails-to-Trails Conservancy’s annual Greenway Sojourn.
