Community Partners
Friends of Ohiopyle (FOO) and Ohiopyle State Park have been
instrumental in embracing the Great Allegheny Passage as an
opportunity to bring business into Ohiopyle. Friends of Ohiopyle is
the local trail chapter, and together with the State Park staff,
maintains the Ohiopyle section
of the Great Allegheny Passage.
The two combine resources to plan special events like Music in the
Mountains and Winterfest to encourage year-round visitation to the
park and business district.
The Ohiopyle Stewart Community Center provides activities such as
bingo, dinners, and yoga for residents and visitors.
