Youghiogheny Glass has breathed new life
into the former P&LE Passenger Station.
Connellsville is undergoing a transformation as the city and other
partners embrace the Trail Town concept and work to revitalize the
city’s West Side, where the trail passes through town.
The Connellsville Cultural Trust, in cooperation with the City of
Connellsville and the Connellsville Redevelopment Authority, is
working to secure Main Street status and revitalize the business
district.
Yough River Trail Council is the local trail chapter that maintains
the Great Allegheny Passage in and around Connellsville. YRTC has
been instrumental in advancing the Trail Town Program and working
with the business community to connect to the trail.
